The new Pigeometry Collection was officially launched last week at The Red Door Gallery, Edinburgh and to celebrate, I got to create a thoroughly geometric window display. Here's how it went...

Roll Up! The Circus is in Town...

This week I had the great privilege of decorating the windows at the marvelous Red Door Gallery in Edinburgh. Throughout August you can visit Lovely Pigeon's lifesize Cut-Make-Play Circus and then hop inside and buy the small version too. You can also get your paws on some limited edition animal prints - lion, peacock and flatfish - are all in store now.

Treat

Lovely Pigeon would like to invite you all along to Treat, a pop-up shop organised by Fife Contemporary Art and Craft. The shop will showcase more than 30 makers in jewellery, ceramics, wood, textiles, glass, lightening and more as well as a whole lot of work from Pigeon Towers.

You'll find Treat upstairs in the lovely old-school stationery shop, J&G Innes on South Street, St Andrews. Open Friday 1st July - Sat 16th July and staffed by the very lovely Jane Gowans. Come and say hello.

larks in liverpool

My latest lovely stockist is new vintage and pressie emporium, Larks. This candy-striped Liverpool shop is based on the very cool Lark Lane (a drunken stone's throw from my old house). Jill stocks the best range of vintage objects, textiles and treasures alongside great cards and presents. Well worth a look there and down the whole of Lark Lane if you happen to be in the 'Pool.

Lovely Pigeon is now available in the North Rock Gallery in Lerwick, Shetland Isles. This is a lovely new craft boutique owned by designer Suzanne Shearer of PhatSheep Textiles. I am lucky enough to share the shelves with the likes of Jane Foster, Jane Smallcombe and Lisa Jones. If you cant make it all the way to Shetland, online shopping is coming soon too...

I have a lovely new stockist in sunny Norwich. Cherry Cherry is a little craft empire run by the fab Gemma Correll and Kate Seaward (I Like Pens). Cherry Cherry sells all manner of gorgeous contemporary craft goodies including Gemma and Kate's own illustration work.
I Like Pens... such lovely line drawings...

Oh I do like to be beside the seaside...

The sun has been shining up here in the Neuk so that means beaches, long walks, ice cream and fish and chips. My weekend has inspired these new pieces - think beach huts, bunting, sailors, sand and sea... and to celebrate the beginning of summer (?) Lovely Pigeon is now available in the delicious Harbour House cafe and gift shop in Elie, here in the lovely East Neuk of Fife

Yippee!! Lovely Pigeon is now available in the shop at Dundee Contemporary Arts (DCA)... my absolutely favourite shop around these parts.

I am very happy to announce that Lovely Pigeon's vintage button brooches and hair clips can now be found (and bought) at the fabulous craft boutique Boo Vake in Perth, Scotland. I will be lucky enough to share the shelves with the likes of felt craftster Lynsey Walters, print wizard Showpony, and the lovely Donna Wilson.

The collection can also now be found at the vintage gem that is Anyone for Tennis in St Andrews. Well worth a rummage for lovely retro prints, Abigail's party dresses and glamorous fancy dress.
